   Today I realized how different my life could be.

   Have you ever wondered how many times you’ve passed without know the potential love of your life?  Maybe they were in the car that was heading west as you were traveling east. Or they could have walked right past you while you had your back turned.

   Imagine how many times you must have been within arm’s reach of someone who could have been an incredibly big part of your life, and all you had to do was turn around.

   Today I realized that I need to actually learn to ask God for what I truly want instead of beating around my words and making no sense. I know He sees the desires of our battered hearts, but He wants to hear us say them out loud so we can hear and understand ourselves. I need to stop doubting and start trusting that I will wake up one day soon and feel better.

   Ive been hurting over a year in a situation of just wanting to let out how I feel to a person. A guy I loved and dated long distance for a year, but we slowly stopped our hearts race for one another. Since then, I just want to have confirmation to move on. I just want to talk to him. so today I realized I have my strength for a reason, and time will have its way. I have the power to make my pain stop and start living.

   A few months ago, my dog got out of my fence. I ask a woman and her three young kids who lived on my street if they’d keep an eye out for him. Instead, they spent three and a half hours helping me look for him. This was my first time ever speaking to them. Strangers helping strangers GMH.
